This historical region is the birthplace of the Nation, and is rich in history. The Stone Store in Kerikeri is New Zealand's oldest stone building and the Treaty of Waitangi was signed on the famous Treaty Grounds at Waitangi.
The Bay of Islands offers an amazing array of things to see and do. If this is your first visit you will be in awe of the magnificent scenery, and everyone should experience being 'up close and personal' with the delightful dolphins which frequent the Bay.
